Studio 3 Solutions Copic Storage

Ok, so I'm so excited to share this post with you today.  I saw these cubbies for Copics ages ago and the company that made them closed for a short time.  GUESS WHAT!!!  They are open again and ready to ship ship ship!!!!  The company is Studio 3 Solutions and they have wonderful customer service and fast shipping.  The most fabulous thing is they are made specifically for Copics...they are slightly tilted on each shelf so they don't fall out and they take up such a small amount of room.  My wonderful hubby had made me something similar but it was huge and it didn't tilt so my markes were always flying out.  I won two from a giveaway on Beate's blog and ordered three more too.  I would recommend at least 5 if you are planning on collecting most of the Copic Sketch.  It also gives you room for refills!  LOVE these.  Make sure to check out Studio 3 Solutions for a set of your own!

Lollyrot Illustration guest today!

An art journal entry using a new release image from Lollyrot Illustrations.  This is a different sort of image for me so I decided to use her in an art journal page with an Edgar Allen Poe quote. I had a great time coloring her and actually did so twice.  I'll be showing that creation later.  For more on this project and the interview check out Lollyrot Illustrations!

Thinking of You...

Hi ya everyone!
Today, I'm sharing a little card I made using the adorable rubber stamp from Whimsy stamps.  This stamp is a Wee stamp design by Sylvia Zeit and I LOVE all of them.  This sweetie is called Hopeful and can be found in the MarkerPop store.
I chose papers from Glitz Designs called Cashmere Dame and paired it with Bazzill card stock Patina.  The small enamel dots are from My Mind's Eye.  The Thinking of You sentiment is from My Craft Spot.  The cream crinkle ribbon is from an Etsy shop called Prairie Bird Boutique.  I also used a Paper Pen for the little pearls all over.  Hopeful was colored in Copics.  I tried something new and colored her skin in YR000, YR00, E11 and E04.  That's the challenge at MarkerPop this week!  Color skin out of your comfort zone.  Tomorrow, I'll share a Copic tutorial on coloring dark skin!  Hope you'll join me.

UR Fabulous!

Hi ya everyone!
We have a new and adorable image at Tiddly Inks!  She's the sweetest and I had SO much fun coloring her gorgeous hair.  Christy has introduced a new character called Faythe and here she is!  You have to go check out some of my teamies creations with her so head over to the Tiddly Inks Blog and check her out.
I used the adorable paper from Echo Park called Sweet Day.  The ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel and the sentiment is from Pink By Design called Bracketful.  The sentiment set comes with lots of adorable sentiments just like the one above.  The dots on the background are from the Fresh Goodies set also from Pink By Design and those were stamped in Key Lime Versamagic ink.  Of course she was colored in Copics.  I also used a Fiskars border punch for the trim.
Hope you have a fabulous day!

All My Love

Hi ya everyone!
I made this very simple card today after seeing Beate John's GORGEOUS creation today on her blog, Fresh and Fun.  Really, check her creation out HERE.  She inspired me to use my embossing folders, which I haven't done for well over a year! Thanks Beate!  I also got a new stamp set from Pink By Design called Fresh Goodies.  This stamp set is super cute as it comes with perfect sentiments for all those yummy holiday goodies!  The sentiment and little heart are both from this set.  I'm also entering it into their fun challenge using your favorite patterns.  I LOVE floral design and also I'm a sucker for hearts when they are subtle!
My paper is from the My Mind's Eye new paper Ruby.  I'm loving this paper.  The red heart was stamped in Versamagic Red Magic and the sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The hearts were embossed with the Heart Blocks Cuttlebug folder onto Neenah Solar White cardstock.  The lace was from Ribbon Carousel

Hot Cocoa is YUMMY!

Hi ya everyone!
We had two new images released yesterday at Tiddly Inks and this is one of them.  Meet Cocoa Wishes - Wryn and Wren.  I used the new papers from My Mind's Eye called All is Bright.  The red in the stack is not so vibrant so I chose papers with no red so I could really pop that color.  The Jewels are from Prima Say It in Crystals.  The sentiment is a My Craft Spot sentiment from White Christmas.  I also added some Paper Pen Opal to the outside of the image for a bit of interest.  The snowflakes are from an old purchase I made when I first started scrapbooking.  I apologize as I don't know the company.  Head over to Tiddly Inks and pick the new image and join our Thank you Challenge!

Join Me for a Cuppa

Hi ya everyone!
We have a new inspiration post today at MarkerPop.  One of the things I love so much about my Copic markers is that you can color your own embellishments.  It's difficult to see in this picture but the bling on the side from Say it in Crystals Prima Marketing is colored with RV34 to match my image.  The image is from CC Designs and is called Kiki La Rue Latte.  The banners were cut using the Spellbinders Lacy Pennants and Pennants dies.  I stamped them in Pink Petunia VersaMagic ink using the My Favorite Things Stamp set Always Time for Tea.  The sentiment is from the Always Time for Tea stamp set as well.  Join us at MarkerPop where DT coordinator Samantha shares a video on how to color your embellishments.  Also, at Created from Color I have a tutorial on coloring your own ribbon.  This card can be purchased from my Etsy shop.

Live Long

Hi ya everyone!  It's the weekend and I've been feeling under the weather.  BOO!  But, on Friday before I got sick I created this simple little card using two challenges at Splitcoast.  The first being, a collage with stamps.  This is interesting as I'd never thought to stamp mulitple images with different colors to produce a fun collage of stamps. I like the turn out though.  I also used a sketch in the Clean and Simple challenge section.

I used Ocean depths and Pixie Pink Versamagic ink, with my Tim Holtz Slight Alterations red rubber stamps and Unity Feb. 2012 Kit of the Month stamps.  The ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel - Pink V-striped Twill and White Spidy Lace Crochet ribbon.

Tobie and his Puppy

Hi ya everyone!
There is a new sketch this month at Some Odd Girl.  I used the adorable Tobie and his Puppy clear stamp for this card.  There is a sad story behind this stamp though :(  (well for me anyhow).  I went to CHA with Kristy and Leah of Some Odd Girl not to long ago and Kristy had given me this stamp and a few others for my design team roll.  We went to Denny's and I lost him.  I was able to stamp him once and color him up.  Yup, this stamp has been colored since then and I'm just getting around to using him on a card!!  This will be the last time I color sweet Tobie too!  Aw, poor guy.  However, you should join our challenge going on right now for some AWESOME prizes!
